Wena Familia y amigos que pasa??

I hope yall are doing amazing! We had transfers this past week and now im in Limache (paradise)! I had the best 1st week of an area I’ve ever had!! I’m used to white wash training while being a DL so I always feel so stressed trying to get the area running, and the missionaries working hard in the first week of every transfer, but this transfer i have an amazing companion who is a hard worker and we both think the exact same! Its so awesome! The area is amazing as well!

Her are some highlights from the week!

– Orejón!!! There’s a dog here named Orejón, and he is so awesome!! He is clean and just full of personality! He’s low-key my favorite part of this part in our area called la Queronque! But anyways hes a Máquinas (means that hes a machine, or very awesome) haha

– Next point is my companion Elder Reyes… he is a Máquina as well! He’s easiest the hardest and most focused companion I’ve ever had! Its theirs time in my mission that I feel like its easy to work with him! But its been a blast this first week!

– Limache my area, is GORGEOUS!! I feel like im back to La Ligua again! This area I have a feeling will be my favorite area of my whole mission! 

– the members are awesome as well! Supper kind, and they give us lunch every day! First time in my whole mission where I dont have to eat in Tupperware!

– my first rendimiento with President Trythall went super well! We brought a lot of questions to it so we got a lot out! 

– General Conference was amazing as well! I loved Elder Gilberts talk on coming home! It was a very special talk, inviting everyone who is lost to come home!

– Enzo needed help! We have a convert here who was at the point of killing himself in a plaza, and he came over to the church and we helped sit down and really think about the fact that God and all of us love him! He started to cry and felt like he wasn’t enough! We explained that these thoughts come from satan and that its important to realize that God has more power than anyone or anything! After the visit we ordered him an Uber so he could make it back home, because he hadn’t been in his house for over 24 hours, he was in the street doing drugs and really just having a hard time! But he’s now in his home and his mom is taking care of him! But it was a crazy experience! 

– There’s a member in this ward he bashes the Elders trying to get them mad haha its kinda funny! He like intentionally brings up crazy topics so that we have to share! My companion and I realized its just better to not respond!

– the weather has gotten a little colder! It feels a lot more like fall now which is super awesome!!

But anyways.. I think this is it for the week! I can’t think of anything else! But I love all of your guys and I hope that this week is a successful one!! Be safe! Que Dios les bendiga y protege! 🫶🫶🫶

MARCH 23, 2026 VIÑA CENTRO VIÑA DEL MAR

Wow it has been sooo long since I wrote an email! I decided that this was a good day to write one! These past couple months have been filled with ups and downs and miracles all around! From baptisms, to sickness, to injuries, to moving to viña!

To start off I moved to Viña Centro which just means its the city of Viña. It used to be an Hermana area but they decided to put Elder LeBarln there knowing hes been in the hood his whole mission haha. It has been a blast these past 4 weeks here! Time is flying!!

We had the last baptism of the Viña church building before it becomes the temple! Its a pretty neat experience, preparing the way for the Viña temple! We have been working out butts off here! When we got here the area wasn’t having much success, it was a very slow area with like 5 people found a week and 0 people in church we have been able to work as hard as we can, with the help of God, to be able to have much more success here which is a blessing! We are working a lot more with members, and the success shows, because of the prophetic promise that if we work with members there’s an increase in the probability that this person gets baptized! But its been really cool!

I got sick! It was my first time throwing up on the mission! Wahoo 😐, I was dying haha! I had to go to the ER to get this steroids shot because my esofogus started to spasm so bad I couldn’t like breathe haha but the good news is it stopped and I feel MUCH better! Jesus Lives!!

I decided to change my plans a bit and now im going to BYU this year, im coming home June 30th to start school this fall which will be a ton of fun! Go Cougars! 🔵🏈🏟🔵

Franco got baptized!!! 🌊🌊🌊
It was a super cool experience! He had such a big desire to be baptized! He loves this church so much! He grew up his whole life being catholic, and he decided tk be baptized in the form of Jesus Christ, and it changed his life! He’s 30 years old and hes like “hey Jesus was around my same age when he was baptized, its symbolic haha”! But anyways it was a really sweet experience! His mom is going to be baptized next which is really cool! I want Franco to Baptize her!

We had a huge miracle this past Sunday! We started the day off either 3/15 people found because I was sick all week, dead, and we were working out butts of with 0 success! Then i decided we should pray. I told my companion to say a prayer and so he decided to say one and right after within 30 minutes we found 4 people and in 2 hours we found 8 people! It was super cool! It shows that we need to do our part by being diligent but it shows that this really is God’s work! If was a pretty unforgettable experience!

But anyways im doing really good! Just enjoying my last couple months here in Chile! Trying to soak up all of the culture and good food! Man just thinking about leaving this place makes me miss the Completos, Empanadas, and Las Panaderías! But anyways I love you guys and miss you guys tons! I’ll see yall soon! Until the next time! ❤️

JANUARY 12, 2026 REÑACA ALTO, VIÑA DEL MAR

Hey guys!! Its been an eternity!! I hope all is well in the U.S.! I am living it up here! Enjoying every last second of this mission! I’ve had so many miracles its hard to put them on a little email! After the mission come ask me about them, because I’ve had to many to just pick 1 to talk about on an email!

But anyways I’m doing sooo good! Just hanging out! We just ended transfers and…… I get to stay!! This area is soo awesome! I’m super excited about it!! But anyways I’m just living it up here with my most favorite members and converts ever! I’m here in Reñaca Alto, its the greatest ward ever! This next transfer is going to be a blast because my new companion is Elder Fisher! He’s like 6’6″ and played basketball his whole life! He also is extremely chill! So i think i’ll chill out a bit this next transfer!

But anyways life is good! Not too much to talk about. We have a lot of friends who are progressing and learning a lot which is awesome! We just keep grinding!

Anyways a miracle to close the email:
So our first week here so, 11 weeks ago, we met a man named marco Antonio. He told us that he lived in apartments up the hill but other than that, nothing more. We never could find him so we just dropped him from teaching. This last week I had the impression to knock a random door in the middle of the most random part of our area and Marco answered the door! I said “you’re Marco right”, and he said “yes!” I was like, “do you remember our conversation we had, like 11 weeks ago?” And he said that he remember it all and that he read the panflet we gave him that day and said he loved it! We then invited him to church and he came! He also came yesterday again! He is amazing! He’s from Venezuela, so he migrated here with his señora which is super cool, so that we could meet him! But anyways just had to share this amazing miracle!!

But anyways I love yall tons and hope that you all are doing good! You can send me a personal email and I’d love to respond!! But anyways we’ll talk next week!

JANUARY 5, 2026 QUEBRADA VERDE, VALPARAISO

Wennnnaaa familia!! Espero que anden demasiado bien, y que hayan tenido una buena semana!!

Wow it has been soooo long! I need to get better at these email things! But anyways… im doing sooo good! Just hanging out here in the land of the south! Just eating lots of completos, and, empanadas!

We’ve been having lots of success here which is super fun because this area I’m in, they want it to become a ward! They had no body in teaching and maybe like 2-3 active families coming to church! Now there’s like 15 members which is awesome! Some of them are converts that we baptized, but still its huge! We love this area a ton and just are trying our hardest to keep working hard!

My companion and I are also just living it up! Enjoying every day! He also taught me how to play Magic the gathering which is super fun! I’m not gonna lie it’s gott be one of the most fun board games! It may be just because its a new game for me but its super fun!

Well were doing good! Had a great past month with tons of miracles and fun parties (for christmas) which was awesome!

But anyways we’re just gonna keep living it up! I love yall so much and hope that your having the best day and had the best week of your lives! Until we talk again! Love yall ❤️

NOVEMBER 30, 2025 REÑACA ALTO, VIÑA DEL MAR

Wow! It has been too long! I’m not gonna lie im the worst at writing emails haha!

But im doing sooo good! Just living it up with my companion (best buddy) Elder Bush!! Were thriving! We’ve had a couple baptisms this transfer, and today we put 5 people on date for baptism! God is Hastening his work!!! But anyways im doing amazing having the craziest experiences! 

Some crazy highlights:

– Got my last rabbies shot from being bit in the butt by a dog!

– Had a couple baptisms! One of which was a satanist before which was insane! He was low-key like possessed! But God fixed him!

– Almost died a couple times in the micros here!

– made a couple fun new songs on the Guitar! I’ve been playing a lot more! We also did just have a family home evening and I got to play electric guitar! Didn’t realize but turn out i can play Eléctric guitar haha!

– we’ve been eating quite a bit of Berlines recently! They are chilean doughnuts basically with homemade Boston cream!

– had the best asado of my whole mission with our bishop!!!

– we performed a fun song i wrote for zone conference!

– had a very weird conversation with the quote on quote chilean dinosaur! He told us hes the oldest man alive, and that we have dinosaurs inside our bodies that are aproxomently 6,500,000 years old! Hahah it was the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced haha he also testified that the book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith really did see Jesus, and Heavenly Father!

That’s about it! Just living it up! Preparing for Christmas and really just enjoying the best 2 years of my life!! Proverbs 3:5-8!!!

SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 QUEBRADA VERDE, VALPARAISO

Normal week no más 🫣

Wennnnaaa capos que onda? How are we??? My week was great! Went very fast and we had tons of success! Our friends thag we’ve been finding are being baptized and coming to church which is awesome! Not to much has happened this past week so it’ll be a way shorter email but I’ll jump into so highlights!

  • a dog was attacking me so I kicked in the throat as hard as possible and it like couldn’t breathe and ran away and then it stopped hacking so I think it’ll be fine hahah but man I thought thag little guy was gonna bite my leg off hahah

-Martina came to church! Shes a mákina that’s being baptized the 7th!!!

  • we watched part of La U, which is a team from Santiago that’s supposedly a super good team! Martina turned it on and then we had to leave to make it home in enough time!
  • We ate pretty good lunches this past week! I’ve finally felt full! In the beginning of the week I made pasta that was soooo good!!
  • a member had a weed plant growing!
  • I spent a day in Almendral which is the casical touristy part of Valparaíso!
  • I saw a needle which was gross (A needle for doing drugs)

Well that’s basically it! We had a blast, it went fast, and d we found cool new people! But i hope yall are doing good! We’ll talk next week! But i love yall! My verse for the day is 3 Nephi 11:31-32! But anyways i love yall! Que estén super bien! Que dios les bendiga! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 QUEBRADA VERDE, VALPARAISO

18 is a week long party??? 🤯

Wenaaaa familia cómo andamos???
Hey guys how are we doing! Welcome back to a nice weekly update to a day in the life of a little (fake) chilean missionary named Elder LeBaron!

Well the life is good! Just working hard! We found some máquinas (really lit people)! But anyways we should have 1-3 baptisms this next week which will be awesome! But ya we have just been grinding!!!!

Also I had no idea that this party here was as long as it is! Like we’re talking, they started the parties Monday and ended today! It’s about the longest party ever haha! Also it was so hard to try and find people this past week! We were able to find 10 but.. it was a lot harder than normal! The good news is the people we found have tons of potential which is awesome!

Well my life is basically the same! Just the same old routine. After a bit you start feeling like a hamster in a wheel haha, doing the same thing weekly! But it’s all good. The life is chill, just living up every day!

But that’s about it! I love yall tons and can’t wait to give yall an update next week! But for now I’d love to give yall a few verses to read….. Roman’s 3:23-26!!!! Love yall! Nos vemos y espero que estén bien y que les vaya increíble! Nos vemos hasta la semana que viene!

SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 QUEBRADA VERDE, VALPARAISO

18 DE SEBTIEMBRE‼️‼️🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱

Wennnnaaa choroooss cómo andái oye loco‼️ Hoy dia debo andar má flaite because….. its 1️⃣8️⃣ DE Septiembre‼️ I’m doing so good! Me and my comp are grinding really hard! We got more trust with the members and we had tons of people come to church! 1 of our friends told us yesterday that she wants to come to church Every week! But anyways we’re doing super good and having tons of miracles! Now to talk about the crazy things happening haha…..

  • we had to shut down a road because a guy broke out of prison and started reaking havoc on our area haha so that was nice!
  • I had a dog almost kill me which was not super fun! I definitely had angels watching over me! I also yelled at it,and since im 6’5″ I just acted huge and he ran!
  • we had these drunk people try talking to me and then they were so drunk they fell on the ground hahah
  • this girl came up to me and spoke in English and she was flirting like CRAZY!! I wasn’t prepared to handle the conversation haha I just was being kind she was like laughing at things that aren’t funny and then was like “your Spanish is SOO good” hahah it was funny! But she did have good English which was crazy!
  • I did an exchange in Laguna Verde which is literally the forest and beach! It’s sooo cool! I had a blast!
  • We had a party at our church building for the 18 de septiembre which was sweet! It was low key the biggest party I have ever been to at a church! They cooked up this chicken that was incredible! People danced, and it just was sweet! The best part of it all was we got friends from teaching to come!!
  • These members want me to come back and remember them because I make music! It was hilarious! The member even started crying, it was uncomfortable but I was like, “ya of course ill remember you guys.” Even though they are members from another ward haha
  • we talked to a member and she’s going to buy chicken feet, cow liver, cow stomach, and some other parts of the cow and cook it for us so we can eat it!!

Well this was my week! It was fast but super fun! We’re just working hard out here, growing and building relationships with the members and we’re seeing so much more success! But anyways I love yall so much and can’t wait to talk in a week! My scriptures for the week are in John 20:27-29. These verses are talking about Thomas and how he only believed when he saw Jesus in person, let us not be like that and let us belive always with doubting! I love yall and will talk in a week!
