Meet President and Sister Nunez

Elder Josh LeBaron’s Mission Blog
Dear LeBaron Family,
I am writing to inform you of the safe arrival of your son in the Argentina Buenos Aires East Mission. Tomorrow I will send a photograph of Elder LeBaron with President and Sister Núñez. His trainer will be Elder Chandler and they are going to serve in the town of Tolosa. Their preparation day will be everyMonday and you can expect an email letter on that day.
Thank you for sharing Elder LeBaron with our mission. We appreciate your support and also the fact that you have a son who wants to serve. We will take good care of him! God bless you.
Sincerely,
Hermana Evans

Hello outside world! Man the time flies in this place! I can’t believe that I’ve almost been here 3 full weeks! This place is super fun and the spirit is awesome! I am teaching at least one lesson a day which is pretty awesome! They are all totally in Spanish, but it’s awesome because it is forcing me to learn quick! I can now teach pretty much a whole lesson in Spanish and get my point across. I’ve also worked hard at memorizing things and I have the purpose, baptism commitment, and the first vision down, so that is pretty cool! Now I just need to get some more scriptures down! So I am having a super fun time here and I can’t wait to learn more!
As far as stories go this week was one of our teacher’s birthday, so we had a party for her which was super fun. Me and all the Elders stole a bunch of donuts from the cafeteria…oops…but then we wrapped them all up in these sketchy napkins and put them in a brown paper bag we got from our sack lunches. It was super funny cuz it looked like we were seriously smuggling in a bunch of drugs or something… Good times. Well after that I had an awesome lesson with one of our investigators named Marco where we invited him to get baptized and taught the main points of the gospel. He said yes, just that he needed to learn more before he could commit. So that was a good time. Well other than that I mostly just teach every day the same things and I just sit in class learning Spanish!
Today was also pretty awesome because my whole zone got Ipads which was cool, and is a huge help for teaching and learning! I know this is where I need to be and I get a confirmation of that seriously every day! I am so excited to finally get to Argentina, and teach real investigators and start doing the work. I hope all of you are doing awesome and I want to hear about what’s goin on! Love y’all! Keep on being awesome!
